On June 22, 2020, the premises of the Russian Embassy in Cambodia witnessed the Memorial Candle action on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow.

During the event, personnel of the diplomatic mission, teachers and pupils of the Embassy school lit candles and laid flowers to the Obelisk to the Fallen Warriors established in May 2019, to commemorate the perished defenders of the homeland, and honoured them with the Minute of Silence.
