Doctor of Philosophy in political science. Fluent in Khmer, English and French languages.
1992 – Joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
1992-1996 – Secretariat of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.
1996-1998 – Embassy of Russia, Botswana.
1998-2001 – Embassy of Russia, Estonia.
2001-2004 – Head of the Estonian section of the Second European Department.
2004-2009 – Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Russia in Lithuania.
2009-2013 – Deputy Director of the Second European Department.
On 7 November 2013 was appointed as Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Cambodia.
On 4 April 2014 presented Letters of Credence to the King of Cambodia Norodom Sihamoni.
Holds the diplomatic rank of Minister Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the First Class (2.12.2015)
On 25 March 2013 was granted the Medal of the Order “For Merits to the Fatherland”, 2nd Class (The Russian Federation).
On 16 September 2016 was granted “The Royal Order of Sahametrei”, 3rd Class (The Kingdom of Cambodia).
On 19 September 2018 was granted “The Royal Order of Sahametrei”, 1st Class (The Kingdom of Cambodia)
