25–29 June the delegation from the ASEAN Centre of Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) headed by Dr.Victor Sumsky visited Phnom Penh. The delegates were welcomed by Russian Ambassador H.E. Mr. Dmitry TSVETKOV for a short discussion in the Embassy.

During the trip the Russian experts visited National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations of Cambodia (NIDIR), where they held consultations with Institute’s Director, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Dr.Chhiv Yiseang and the leadership of this high school to discuss possible assistance of MGIMO in Institute’s development.

The Professors also delivered lecture devoted to contemporary Russian foreign policy for NIDIR students and guests from Foreign Ministry, Ministry of National Defense, Senate and National Assembly. At the end of their stay in Phnom Penh, they were interviewed by local media (links below).
