Press-release on the 7th elections to the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia

The Embassy of Russia in Cambodia welcomes the 7^th general elections to the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, held on 23 July 2023.

At the invitation of the Cambodian Side, delegates from the Central Electoral Commission of the Russian Federation, the Civic Chamber, as well as officials of the Russian diplomatic mission observed the voting and visited the polling stations in Phnom Penh and Kandal Province.

According to the National Election Committee of the Kingdom, 8213260 persons exercised their suffrage right (84,58% of voters). The elections were held in a peaceful manner.
